Ambition

A young apprentice (Aisling Franciosi) struggles to master nanotechnology on an alien world and prove herself to her enigmatic master (Aidan Gillen). Will her herculean goals remain tantalizingly out of reach, or will she fulfill them and in the process, change life as we know it? Tomek Bagiński’s short film Ambition is a collaborative project between the European Space Agency and Platige Image highlighting Rosetta, ESA’s real mission to rendezvous with, escort and land on a comet.

Animated History of Poland

Polish history is filled to the brim with diversity, so the idea transforming it into a gripping tale was a very exciting challenge. We created an exciting trip back in time that takes you through 1000 years of history in about 8 minutes. We picked 140 events that feature 500 animated characters from different historical periods. The film was created to represent Poland at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

Humorous true-life story about male-female relations. Infatuation and its consequences are depicted in a ironic way: meeting a guy, dancing, having fun, a sexual act. A man, giddy with the charm of a femme fatale, leaves a room. He is followed by failure and doom.

Fallen Art

Fallen Art presents the story of General A, a self-proclaimed artist. His art, however, consists of a deranged method of stop motion photography, where the individual frames of the movie are created by photographs made by Dr. Johann Friedrich, depicting the bodies of dead soldiers, pushed down by Sergeant Al from a giant springboard onto a slab of concrete.
