Green Border

In the treacherous and swampy forests that make up the so called “green border” between Belarus and Poland, refugees from the Middle East and Africa trying to reach the European Union are trapped in a geopolitical crisis cynically engineered by Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko. In an attempt to provoke Europe, refugees are lured to the border by propaganda promising easy passage to the EU. Pawns in this hidden war, the lives of Julia, a newly minted activist who has given up her comfortable life, Jan, a young border guard, and a Syrian family intertwine.

Stolen Dreams

Every third woman in the world married as a child comes from India. From an early age, they are taught meekness and obedience. This is to prepare them for marriage. They often become wives long before they reach the age of puberty. They become pregnant almost immediately after they get married, which poses a serious threat to their health and life. Also, underage wives have no chance to continue their education. They remain completely dependent on their husbands and in-laws for the rest of their lives. About 23% of girls from India experience this fate every year.

My Own Pole

A tale based on the true story of Jasiek Mela, the first and youngest disabled who ever reached both the South and North Pole. The Mela family is enjoying their summer vacation on the lake completely unaware of the tragedy that is about to happen. And just when they think that the loss of a child is the worst that could happen to their family, life strikes again, and again.

"True Stories" is a series of stories about ordinary people put in the face of extraordinary challenges. These are stories inspired by life. Without undue pathos and artificial happy ending, but with an optimistic message. The film is based on real events. January 28, 2003, a group of high school students went to climb Rysy. An avalanche killed eight of them. Parents of children who were killed face tragedies. It's hard for them to come to terms with what has happened.
