Mariko Koike (小池真理子; born October 28, 1952 - Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese author known for works such as 'The Graveyard Apartment' and 'The Cat in the Coffin'. Her novel 'A Cappella' as adapted in 2016 by filmmaker Hitoshi Yazaki.
