It tells the story of young Evan Hansen, whose quest for belonging and affirmation leads him down a complex path filled with challenges and discoveries. Evan goes to High School where he has a hard time finding his place. He suffers from social anxiety, has no friends and those around him see him as strange.

Conductor Daniel returns to his childhood village where he learns to know the many colorful characters of the village. Meetings where friendships are made, enmities arise and love begins to blossom are warmly portrayed. Recording of the swedish musical with the same title from Oscarsteatern 2020.
