She's studied language in France, worked in theater in Germany, and co-founded a video production company that trains underserved youth in Australia. Since making San Francisco her home, she's worked on several compelling media projects. She believes that story can change the world, and to create a better world we must first be able to imagine it.

Carol Doda Topless at the Condor

On a fateful San Francisco night in the early '60s, Condor nightclub performer Carol Doda was lowered to the stage on a floating piano, topless. Word spread quickly, setting off a wave of controversy and delight, with raids soon to follow. There was even a trial for the new celebrity.
