In 1962, Yann Le Masson films the words of Algerian activists upon their release from prison in France. Over 50 years later, as the soundtrack has disappeared, the filmmaker sets out to find these women.

In 2019, he came back to see Cécile. Since the death of her husband she lives on her own. She doesn’t write or engrave anymore.
