When Irmy, a soon-to-be-dad comedian goes to his own father asking for money, he finds out that his only inheritance is a tiny piece of land in the occupied Palestinian territories. To make things worse, he also finds out that extreme-right-winged Jewish settlers have settled in his land and made a winery out of it. Together with his father, Irmy wages war on the settlers, army, and Israeli government and demands his land back! What begins as a personal quest to recover this contested piece of real estate quickly evolves into a humorous activist adventure that exposes the mechanisms of the occupation.

1948 - Remember, Remember Not

Two films that create one work about the 1948 War of Independence unfold along two axes. One in the past, retelling the events of the war through journals and letters that were written in real time – an ensemble of voices, Jewish and Arab, that create a human story about that dramatic war and allow a glimpse into the way the perception of this war was constructed on both sides. They’re accompanied by breathtaking original footage, a great part of it being shown for the first time. In the present, the characters are battling over the war’s memory – researchers, archivists, members of the unit for detecting missing soldiers. Some are charges with maintaining the ethos, other with its deconstruction. Each one of them believes that how memory of this crucial war will be embedded is critical to the future of our lives here in Israel.

Shadow of Truth: Coastal Road Killer

In the 1970s and 1980s, a long line of young women were murdered along the Coastal Highway. All bodies were found in open areas, within the same 10-kilometer radius, after they were raped, beaten and strangled to death with a bra or another clothing item affixed to their necks. The striking similarities between the murders raise a serious concern that they were all committed by one sadistic killer, who managed to outwit the law and evade justice. Titled “Shadow of Truth: Coastal Road Killer,” the second season of the award-winning Documentary-Crime series goes back in time, in an attempt to solve one of Israel’s most enigmatic mysteries, tracing the most vicious serial killer in the history of the country.
