The Rooster Trademark Paper

This movie follows the efforts of three kids, coming from unprivileged families. They are small children with big hopes and dreams. Amir is a young boy who lives with his mother and sister. He sells newspapers to help his family with the daily expenses. One day, he reads a newspaper and decides to enter a painting competition. The name of the paper he is going to do his painting for, is "Rooster Trademark". Ali is Amir's best friend. His passion is football and he works in a bakery. Every day, between his jobs, he goes to a football field where young boys practice to become professional football players. Maryam is Amir's sister. She is a creative girl and dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Will the three manage to achieve their goals?

The Hidden Half

An official is sent from his home in Tehran to hear the final appeal of a woman sentenced to death, a political prisoner. The official's wife of nearly 20 years, Fereshteh Samimi, writes him a letter to read when he reaches the hotel - the story of her student days during the revolution of 1978. We see the story in flashbacks as he reads: she leaves her province on scholarship, joins a Communist youth group, avoids arrest, and comes under the sway of a suave older man, Roozbeh Javid, a literary-magazine editor. As she tells her husband about the hidden half of her life, Fereshteh asks that he listen to the woman facing execution, a woman and therefore one of Iran's hidden half.

An alien is sent from Kakadu planet to earth for one week. He befriends a little girl Golnar and this is the beginning of their adventures.
