Dmitro Goritsvit

Based on the novel by Mikhail Stelmakh “A Big Family”. The second film of the trilogy (“Human Blood is Not a Water”, “Dmitro Goritsvit”, “People Don’t Know Everything”) tells about one of the first collective farms of Ukraine, the fight against the kulaks and the love of the communist Dmitro Goritsvit for Marta, the Petliurist's daughter, who guilty of the death of Dmitro's father.

Heaven

Osoaviahimovets (volounteer military trainee) Andron organizes an aviation circle on his Volna collective farm and plans to build a parachute tower. Pilot Oreshkin, in love with Varenka, the daughter of the collective farm chairman, who is categorically opposed to aviation in the village, promises the guys to bring a parachute soon. And no matter how cunning the chairman is, young people still manage to convince him.

Sailors

1941 year. The flagship of the head detachment of the Black Sea Fleet gives an order to one of the submarines to remove the crew from the damaged torpedo boat. An enemy cruiser discovers a Soviet submarine and bombards it with bombs. Submarine forced to lie down. But the task will be completed - and the enemy will take flight.

Shors

The year is 1919. German troops retreat from Ukraine. The Directory, the Ukrainian national government lead by Symon Petliura, takes control of Kyiv. Meanwhile, the Bolshevik division commanded by Mykola Shchors is marching on the capital. The Bolsheviks capture the cities of Vinnytsia, Zhmerynka, and others one by one, but lose Berdychiv to Petliura’s forces. They are demoralized by the defeat. By his personal example of courage and military skill, Shchors inspires the retreating Red troops and leads them to victory over the enemy.

May Night

By Nikolai Gogol's "May Night, or the Drowned Maiden". Son of a stubborn mayor can not get his father's agreement to marry an ordinary peasant girl. Unexpectedly he gets the help from an "evil force"
