With Soul

Magos Herrera and Paola Prestini created a strategy through music to build community and foster empathy in a time of uncertainty and pain. From this collaboration, and with the participation of more than 30 outstanding international musicians, the album "Con Alma" (With Soul) was born, and a tour to finally bring the conversation of care to the UN Headquarters.

Children of the Coast

The film features a group of Afro-Mexican musicians from the Pacific Coast of Mexico. They live with the shore, speaking through their instruments and microphones about the traditions they cherish and the love of their homeland. Their music provides a space for the film to explore, encompassing both the historical depth and cultural characteristics of the local civilization, and paying homage to the people, the sea, and the land that exists here. Here, music not only flows with sheer beauty and passion, but is also the language that unites people.

Human | Animal

An Italian boy dreams of becoming a bullfighter. In the sunny Andalusian pasture, a calf is born destined to be a fighting bull. Humans and animals grow up in totally different worlds, but their lives reflect each other. Only in the end will they meet.

Pozoamargo

Jesús, a middle-aged man, finds out that he suffers from a venereal disease. Feeling guilty, he abandons his pregnant wife and flees to the countryside. In Pozoamargo, a small village lost in the middle of nowhere, he works as a grape harvester, living a simple existence, until he meets Gloria, a peculiar young woman.

The Fantastic World of Juan Orol

Mexico’s half-forgotten B-movie master, “involuntary surrealist” Juan Orol (1897–1988), receives a pitch-perfect tribute in this deft, irresistible love letter to a self-made man of showbiz whose career spanned half a century and nearly 60 films. Abetted by an all-pro cast, del Amo’s brilliant interpretation of Orol’s life exudes a droll underdog charm, and almost every frame is an infectious homage to the golden age of cinema, the wiles of memory, and the art of fantasy.

Via Park

Beto is the keeper of a house in Mexico City - empty for several years already - in which he used to work as a domestic help. The solitude of the last ten years, as well the monotony and routine of his job have made him lead a secluded life, which could seem suffocating for most people, whereas for him it provides a safe and stable environment, in contrast to the threatening outside world. He has develop a pathological fear for this world, to the point of limiting his contacts to only two persons: the lady of the house, for whom he has a feeling of deep gratitude and respect that is translated into obedience; and Lupe, a friend, a confident and a lover. Once he learns that the house has been sold, Beto is confronted to the dilemma of gathering the courage to get out and get a life or find a way of remaining in his confinement.
