This is a film about two women. Both have lost their loved ones. One in the Great Patriotic War, the other in the Afghan War. Each fate released only a few days of happiness. But both carried their love and loyalty through life. Together with them, we reread letters from the front and relive the happiness of love and the bitterness of loss.

To Leave or not to Leave

In one of the most beautiful places in the Urals on the banks of the river Rezh stands the village of Mironovo. Every year graduates of the local school go to the city to study and earn money, with the hope that they will be able to settle there. But in recent years, the mood of the village youth has begun to change.

There is an area in Yekaterinburg where most of the residents are visitors from neighboring countries. The heroes of the picture are teenagers. They live and study here.

On the shore of the Angara River, two old, lonely people met - a man and a woman. They found their happiness, and would have lived like this until their death, but the great construction project, designed to turn the Hangar into a giant source of electricity, separates them. The film won the Prize as the best short film at the Open Documentary Film Festival "Russia" (Yekaterinburg).

After the birth of the sixth child, the father left for another woman. The core of the family was the elder sister Natasha, herself a person of dramatic fate.

When you are 19 years old, you want to fall in love, walk, spend nights in frivolous conversations. All this is done by our heroine Lisa. But that's not the main thing. The main thing is that she has to earn her own living and take care of two paralyzed old men. And there is not a single person nearby to lean on. And Lisa lives in the world-famous town of Karabash, in an ecological disaster zone.

Chocolate Riot

A small Russian town is prospering, because it's main industry is the chocolate factory. But this kind of prosperity comes at a very high price. Everybody in this town is eating plenty of chocolate, and everyone is suffering from diabetes. There is a thick smell of chocolate in the air, and the local river has brown water, that is filthy with chocolate pollution. So people decided to put an end to their suffering and to shut the chocolate factory down. But the chocolate business is so lucrative, that the factory is expanding, and rapidly increasing the production of chocolate. Conscious citizens are terrified, and an anti-chocolate riot is brewing.
