The Gordji Affair

Wahid Gordji is an Iranian diplomat suspected of the attack at 'rue de Rennes'. Yet, he is ultimately absolved when French hostages in Lebanon are released. Political scandal in France: there is suspicion that the government had intervened in the case and to have exchanged the liberation of the hostages with that of Gordj. Discredited, the judge commits suicide. Mitterand and Chirac keep lobbing the responsibility of the case to each other.

Ballroom

René is an artist. His studio is set up in a former nightclub that is now closed down. He lives and works there with his friend. All goes well, and yet not as well as all that. René believes he’s caught something. He doesn’t really feel sick, but he’s doesn’t feel absorbed by the world around him. Why do things that enter his mind no longer want to leave it? One of them is this photo of two strange clowns that he cut out of a magazine.

In a bookstore, Patrick B. discovers a collection of photographs showing naked black male models. But in the demo copy, photographs that show sexes were methodically cut, so that small square windows now open throughout the volume.
