El halcón de Castilla

Adventure film of Spanish production that follows point by point the parameters set by other literary characters, such as "El Zorro" or "El Coyote". José María Elorrieta, director with extensive experience in western spaghetti, is in charge of the direction and the script, in this film starring a gallant who was fervid among the female audience, Germán Cobos ("La patrulla", "La vida es maravillosa"). Shot on a small budget and with no other pretense than to entertain, "El falcón de Castilla" had considerable box office success.

A mature man habitually pursues young girls, for which he is abandoned by his wife. The devil intervenes, offering both spouses, separately, to regain their youth. The two agree to make up for the lost years, but the devil makes them both join the same gang for a summer. The husband, who now feels comfortable, falls in love with his wife again without recognizing her, just as she will not recognize her ex.

Rosa de Lima

Santa Rosa de Lima, who died in the capital of Peru, was barely 31 years old when she died in 1617. José María Elorrieta's film narrates the life of this young woman, daughter of Gaspar Flores, Spanish arquebusier the service of King Philip III, and of Maria de Oliva, who will become principal patron of the New World, the Philippines and West Indies in 1670.

Habanera

Year 1860. Rosa Maria, daughter of a wealthy Cuban landowner, is studying at a convent school in Cadiz and requests to return to Cuba after spending many years in Spain. But now the economic situation of his father is disastrous and therefore he tries to delay the return of his daughter, hiding that fact. Rosa Maria knows nothing and, at the refusal of his father, she runs away from school, embarking as a stowaway on a ship bound for home.
