Void Spaces

Therapy session opens memories from five different places and times. Traumatic experiences come back in expressive and suggestive images. Slowly, chaos becomes calmer and changes into peace. The film is a story about loss, thanks to which, an opportunity to find power and hope emerges.

The Miracle

The life of a young man, a hedonist and a sinner, turns upside down when his wife becomes pregnant. He tries to escape, but it does not bring relief, on the contrary, it makes his life even more confusing. He can no longer separate reality from a drunken hallucination colored with biblical stories and folk songs.

Love in the Times of Coal-Based Economy

A prehistoric fish takes its first step on dry land, a cuddling T-Rex couple is about to become extinct after a meteorite impact, while in Poland it is 1963 and the Winter of the Century is in full swing. Chimneys cheerfully spit out clouds of black smoke. A young coal loader is madly in love with a beautiful crane operator. The heat of his love will not let him freeze as he struggles with the piercing frost and trudges through snow drifts guided by wild desire. Our hero and heroine, still totally unaware of global warming and excessive carbon dioxide emissions, will play their parts in a human comedy of love and death.

Pale Pink is a sci-fi tale of love, loss and hope. Kuba and his 3.5-year-old daughter Emilia crash land on a desert planet. While Emilia explores the new world, Kuba tries to repair the rocket listening to the noises from the space, including hypnotic sounds of a black hole. In a parallel, realistic thread, we meet Jagoda, Kuba's partner and Emilia's mother, who suddenly ends up in hospital. Through the messages exchanged with her close ones, we follow the story of her battle with an illness. Meanwhile, on the planet, Emilia discovers life - a land of fantastic flowers. When a black hole comes close to the planet, Emilia rescues Kuba by taking him to a fairy-tale world of a child’s drawings.
