Producer, Director of LLC UP UA STUDIO Polina Herman - Producer, a member of the Ukrainian CinemaCademy and the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, member of the European Psychodrama Association (PAfE), Institute of Psychodrama, Modern Psychology and Psychotherapy. in 2016 established its company from the film production "UP UA Studio". Education: In 2013, he received a second higher education at the Kyiv National Theater, Cinema and Television University. I. Karpenko-Karoho in the specialty "Organization of cinema, television production". In 2011, he graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Culture and Arts in the specialty "Marketing and Public Relations". In 2011 he studied at the Higher School of PR and Advertising at KNU Taras Shevchenko in the field of marketing. Born in Evpatoria, now lives in Kyiv. In 2012 he began to work in cinema production. In 2013, he was promoted by Ukrainian films as PR-Director in Insight Media LLC ("Normal Case", "Ivan Power", "Istalgia"). In 2016, head of "Days of Ukrainian Cinema in Hamburg". Since the beginning of 2016, he worked as an executive producer of LLC "Tatofilm" of the Short Game Movie "Synagogue", LLC "Insaithmed" of the animation film "Travel", which was implemented with the support of the State Agency of Ukraine on Cinema. Since 2016 he worked at the State Film Studio "National Kinematka of Ukraine" as a producer. The local director decides to attract non-professional actors -displaced people - in bringing his dream into life - to stage the King Lear play. The theatrical performance helps them find themselves and their purpose in a new world where there is war, and the director finds an answer to the eternal question of what love is and why this world should not perish.

The Price of Conflict

Since the very beginning of Ukrainian independence, Russian propaganda has deceived the miners of Donbass. They were told that the entire economy of Ukraine is surviving just due to their work, and if they separate from Ukraine, all the money from the sold coal will remain in the Donbass. In fact, all mines were unprofitable and survived on subsidies. So when Russia held a referendum for the so-called Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics in the occupied part of Donbass in 2014, miners gladly supported it. However, it has become clear that Russia is not interested in the development of mines. Moreover, Russia has started to rob mines and fire workers. The film tells in detail why the miners believed the propaganda, how Russians looted the mines and mocked the miners, and what the economic consequences of the conflict were. Initially, the project was conceived as a 4-episode project-series, but in the end one episode was filmed, which became a full-fledged film.
