Thavam

Thavam is a 2007 Tamil film directed by Sakthi Paramesh. The film stars and in lead roles. The movie begins with Sumathi (Vanthana) and Subramaniam (Arun Vijay), strangers to one another, meet at a suicide point in Chennai. They realise that their goal is the same, that is Suicide! Both had choose to end their lives and duly writes suicide notes. Sumathy's reason for taking the extreme step is her nagging relatives, who are also her guardians. They are after her ancestral money. Subramaniam is cheated by a friend who promises a job for him in Dubai after taking Rs five lakh from him. Both consumes sleeping pills in a bid to end their lives in Subramaniam's room. However, they are rescued by the house-owner Mani (Janakaraj). Life takes a turn and Subramaniam lands a good job while Sumathy's relatives take her home.

Vanakkam Thalaiva

The plot is dramatically woven around the different roles donned by Satyaraj and the reason behind him taking up such roles. The movies begins with Manickam (Sathyaraj) kidnapping Divya (Susan), who is the girl friend of Mano (Abbas). Mano decides to rescue Divya, but fails to do so after repeated attempts. In every attempt he is foiled by Manickam through one of his many disguises. At this point Mano’s friend Aruchamy (Vivek) comes to help him in his dilemma. Aruchamy is a suspended police office and appoints Manickam to be his lorry cleaner. This way he and Mano trace out where Divya is held. Mano, realizing that it is Manickam who has been foiling his attempts to rescue Divya, goes to the place where she is kept hidden along with the police. This is where the plot twister starts

Three Roses

When Charulatha, Nandhu and Pooja return from abroad, they find out that their friend has been arrested for travelling on a fake passport. After learning that she is innocent, they decide to help her.

Looty

A childless couple adopts a child, but the wife becomes convinced her husband sired the child with another woman. The son decides to seek out his birth mother to find out the truth.

Suriya Paarvai

Vijay (Arjun) is a hitman who works for Sundaramoorthy (Radha Ravi). He kills anybody for a price, other than women and children and he lives alone in an apartment. Pooja (Pooja), a young girl, studies in a boarding school and comes to her father's house for the holiday. Between her abusive father, selfish stepmother and an arrogant step-aunt, Pooja feels rather badly but she treasures her lovely little brother Dinesh (Mahanadi Dinesh). Pooja tries to befriend with Vijay but Vijay is not interested. Her father is a drug smuggler. One day, a corrupt police officer Jayanth (Raghuvaran) kills Pooja's family including her brother. Vijay decides to accommodate Pooja and Pooja compels him to teach her his skills as a hitman. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.
