Behind the Mosquito Net

A portrait of newly married couple, Nurlela and Hasan, who have to live at the house of Nurlelas’s father. They do not have enough money to find a place of their own. Nurlela's father constantly compares Hasan negatively to his rich son-in-law Bakri (August Melasz), causes a friction between the young couple. Hasan and Nurlela fights when looking for their own way to be able to live independently. This situation makes them lie to each other, especially Hasan, who questions himself about his work and its environment. Hasan’s hard work to get off the family’s house eventually causes a misunderstanding. Nurlela almost commits suicide before the couple is able to trust each other again.

Galunggung Genie

After Bayukusuma is falsely accused of committing adultery, his village is hit by a series of natural disasters. Bayukusuma is blamed and throw over a cliff. He survives and then they bury him in the sand. After awhile, he has no other option than to become the disciple of the evil Galunggung Genie. He's promptly possessed by the genie, who then goes to the village and gets revenge.

Gara-Gara Gila Buntut

The film tells a story about the problems that come from playing “judi buntut” (a type of lottery gambling). People start to think and act irrationally. In the end the police comes to set things straight.

Sari and Dadang, the son of the Village Elder of Cijulang, are in love with each other. Dadang is also running as a candidate in the village head elections. But Ohim, the son of the Cigugur Village Elder, is also madly in love with Sari. He gets even more daring after a humiliating incident when he tries to touch Sari’s hair bun on the ronggeng stage. The touching of the hair bun is one of the rituals in the traditional art of Ronggeng. Dadang’s father is angered by his son’s relationship with Sari, since it could jeopardize his candidacy as the head of the village.
