In childhood, Dewan's daughter Ranjita betrothed Rudra, preferred Shankar and finally married him. Rudra can't bear it and is out to kill Shankar. Will he succeed? If he does then?

Rodon Bhara Basanta

Shipra is a poor woman who is molested and killed as she witnesses corruption. The police and lawyer Somnath take up the case and slowly dig into it. He traces the corrupted policeman and comes to know that Karuna, the head lady of the orphanage where Shipra used to live is equally involved in female trafficking. However, when he sees Karuna his world is turned upside down. Karuna is Shukla, Somnath’s long-lost wife. Circumstances had led her to become a puppet in the hands of the gangsters. Widower Sudhangsu is going to be married to Soma, daughter of Sir Haraprasad. At the time of the marriage rituals a local advocate, Suren Banerjee, comes with a lady who claims that she is Kalpana and that Sudhangshu is committing bigamy. Sudhangsu strongly denies and claims that she is an imposter. In the meantime a mysterious person named Samadder invaded Sudhangsu's house and stole some ornaments of the deceased Kalpana.

Headmaster

If they do, what change he has to bring in himself? Can he?

Putrabadhu

He meets Rita, a young and charming lady who assists him. They fall in love. Shankar faces a lot of roadblocks while trying to collect clues, most of them which were imposed by the actual murderer. However, he solves the mystery in the end and his father is thus released from prison.

Jighangsa

The movie revolves around the unwanted incidents that happened in the princely state of Ratnagarh. After the murder of King Chandrakanta, one Dr. Palit (Kamal Mitra) asked for help from one Detective Smarajit Sen (Sisir Batabyal), as a family friend. Detective Sen sent his assistant Bimal to Ratnagarh to investigate and ascertain the security of young Kumar Bahadur, a new predecessor of the royal family of the estate. They observed that a mysterious lady Manjusri (Manju De) sang an uncanny song in the adjacent water body near the palace. Mr. Gupta (Bikash Roy), a suspicious botanist who stayed in the neighborhood also roamed in that locality. It revealed that he was deprived of the real property of the royal family and took revenge by killing the members of the family. He used one deaf and dumb porter as a hired killer. Ultimately, he was killed by the detective at the end before he could commit another murder.

Garmil

Niren Lahiri directs this social-minded melodrama about the complicated relationship between a traditional Hindu family headed by Madhab Thakur (Choudhury) and their progressive next-door neighbor Mukherjee (Chhabi Biswas). Thakur's daughter, Malati (Sheila Haldar), and Mukherjee's son, Robi (Robin Majumdar), run a school teaching traditional Hindu values which they hope will become a countrywide franchise. Their planned nuptials are impeded when Malati's older sister is forced to marry a Brahmin against her will, resulting in a full-scale revolt in both households. Eventually, the rift is settled, the hero and heroine marry, and a sort of Hindu-laden modernity reigns in the two families.
