Daughter of Camorra

Former Camorra killer Cristina Pinto is facing the challenges of everyday life after her discharge from prison. Soon after her release, her partner Rafaele, 20 years older than she, is diagnosed with lung cancer. Pinto seeks refuge with her 28-year-old daughter Ellena, and tries to bridge a 24-year-old void in their relationship. At the age of 46, Pinto tries to re-establish herself as a lover, mother, and grandmother. Is she able to overcome her violent history and live in a loving relationship with her closest ones? Growing Up

An intimate portrait of a newborn baby boy Tibor and his two mothers, Daja and Jedrt, who fight against the social discrimination of their family. They are the only homosexual parents to have taken an active part in the campaign for the same-sex marriage referendum that took place in Slovenia. The challenge of motherhood was exacerbated by Daja and Jedrt's political opponents, who have publicly accused them of paedophilia and labelled their relationship as unnatural.

A Fight for

A month after the Wall Street occupation, a number of protesters follow their example and set up their tents in front of the Ljubljana stock market. The protesters are united in the critique of representative democracy and global financial capitalism under the slogan ‘nobody represents us’. Their organisation is based on the principles of direct democracy. In absence of other social alternatives, a community starts to emerge in the camp in front of the stock market where everyone has an equal say, and everyone is united in their diversity. After the initial euphoria the great idea of direct democracy clashes against the contemporary individual; antagonisms surface, similar to those of the system which the protesters fight against. The story about the Slovenian version of the ‘occupy’ movement is portrayed with the stories of a few protagonists, who despite several defeats do not lose hope in a different world.
