La Fabrika

The documentary film about La Fabrika theatre presents a generous multifunctional cultural space that has gained a great reputation on the Czech cultural scene in the 15 years of its existence. It is home to several dance companies, not only classical but also alternative theatre and cabaret, concerts and festivals. The success of La Fabrika is evidenced by the number of artists who are among the top in their field and who regularly return to La Fabrika, thus shaping its genius loci.

The Musical, or The Way to Happiness

Students from the Prague Conservatory leave for a workshop in the picturesque South Bohemian countryside, where they are placed before a demanding task, from which only some of them will emerge successful and they will then continue in their dream to be famous. Each of them will find their true path to happiness.

A love story of the 21st century. Hoping for change, Ema runs away from her family and leaves her husband. She hides at the apartment of her hairdresser, a gay guy Tony, even though she barely knows him. At the beginning they are merely two strangers, connected by their mutual effort of escaping from their families. They get closer and help each other to overcome the internal, as well as external, obstacles of their lives. Their liberating friendship almost becomes a love affair, despite the fact it cannot be fulfilled. This liberation creates an intense bond between them: a new escape, a new quest. This is a love story of two people and their attempts to escape the trap of their own desires of belonging to somebody.
