​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Steve Gomer is an American film and television director. In 1987, he made his directorial debut directing the film Sweet Lorriane starring Maureen Stapleton. He continued directing films namely Fly by Night (1993), Sunset Park (1996) starring Rhea Perlman and Barney's Great Adventure (1998). Since 2000, he moved on to television directing episodes of Chicago Hope, Gilmore Girls, Ally McBeal, Joan of Arcadia, The Unit, Private Practice and few other series.

Michael Spurlock decides to trade in his corporate sales career to become a pastor. Unfortunately, his first assignment is to close a country church and sell the prime piece of land where it sits. He soon has a change of heart when the church starts to welcome refugees from Burma.
