Dark Matter

Anthon is renowned physicist researching Dark Matter - particles we know nothing about, but of which 95% of our universe consists of. Anthon's life is turned upside down when his eleven years old son Thomas is kidnapped by Elena, a mysterious woman. From that moment Anthon not only has to go look for his son, but also for himself. Dark Matter is a reflection on the dark mysteries of our universe and how we relate to the unknown.

Cycle

A small round story about a girl who learns to cycle from her grandfather and discovers that where the road ends real adventure begins.

Tunnelvision

Mira works as a falconer on a rubbish dump. With her birds of prey she is responsible to take care of the inconvenience caused by gulls. When the body of a little baby was found in the dirt, the rubbish dump workers soon have reason to suspect that Mira knows more about it.

The Chinese Wall

A lonely middle-aged woman dines alone in a Chinese restaurant on her birthday. She pays close attention to the other patrons, imagining their relationships and personal situations. She remembers her past lovers and child, and broods on her bitter sense of loss and loneliness. In an unthinking moment, she announces to the waitress that it is her birthday, and the entire social dynamic in the restaurant is altered. An intensely moving, bittersweet and realistic look at emotional loss and disconnection.
