Coldplay: A Film for the Future

The visual accompaniment to Coldplay’s No 1 album Moon Music, created by over 150 different visual artists from 45 countries. Each artist was given a handful of music snippets from Moon Music and asked to create corresponding visuals. There were no rules or guidelines, and no knowledge of other artists’ creations.

A year ago, singer Sayuri Komatsu committed suicide due to stress triggered by reports of her affair. Teru Morishima, who lost Sayuri, now lives as a taxi driver. Despite his loneliness, Teru maintains a connection to society by talking about his life on a radio show. However, one day, after meeting a woman who is the spitting image of his wife, he begins to desire love once again, and his dreams are thrown into turmoil.

ELLEGARDEN: Lost & Found

A sensation to indies rock scene since 2000s and actively present today among fans even during their breaks. The first full-length documentary in the band’s history starts from the production base in LA for the first album in 16 years, and navigates the stories from how they started, took break after breaking through, and reunited with nationwide fans awaited.

Mu

An experimental art film shot in Tokyo, Japan, ‘Mu’ combines black and white footage with a bespoke poem written by poet Shuya Masuda (inspired in part by the poem ‘Nu’ written by Ryuichi Tamura, ‘Mu’ literally meaning nothing, zero, void) alongside visuals inspired by photographer Daido Moriyama and a textured performance interlude by Japanese rapper Jin Dogg. In its sum, this film creates the physical manifestation of the imagined characters director Taichi Kimura has written in his previous film ‘Lost Youth’ and in his feature currently in development, ‘Neon’.
