In the mythical Reus neighborhood, two families dispute control of the area. One of them fights to recover their place and the other to resolve unfinished business. The conflict generates a spiral of violence that causes a confrontation between the new generations.

Floating House

It tells the story of Araci, a woman who saw her daughter murdered by ranchers. She emigrates to Mértola with her husband and their granddaughter, who will grow up without forgetting the indigenous rituals and teachings of Brazil.

Empty House

Raúl is an unemployed cattleman that lives in an isolated house on the fields. The landscape of pastures is being superimposed by huge soy plantations. Devastated by poverty, he joins a gang of other peasants that steals cattle during the darkness of the nights on the pastures.

A librarian founds a copy of the fabled Necronomicon, only unleash hell on earth.

Central

The Central Prison of Porto Alegre was considered the worst in Brazil by a commission of inquiry of the Chamber of Deputies in 2008. Now, the place opens its doors to expose the poorly maintained structure and the life of penitentiaries in unhealthy conditions. Prison officials, detainees, and relatives of prisoners tell how their daily lives are in jail and propose a reflection on the condition of the Brazilian penitentiary system.

The Old Woman at the Back

A lonely and frustrated old woman offers a young student a deal that is difficult to fulfill: a house and food in exchange for a fluid daily conversation.
