Marriage is a tomb of love? This film depicts the struggle of modern man to choose between bachelorhood and marriage. A sensitive yet comical look at love and commitment between men and women in the '90s. Chronicling the lives of a typical yuppie couple, Charcoal (Lau Ching-Wan) and Veronica (Ron for short) (Anita Yuen). Anita's goal in life is to have a baby, which certainly is not Charcoal's goal. Anita's best friend Ada (Lai Mei-Han) and her husband (Dayo Wong) are having a baby at the same time. However, Dayo surprisingly is a womanizer which leads to problems between the couple. In addition, Charcoal's ex-fiance Joyce (Annabelle Hui) is always around the corner.

The Gambling Ghost

Sammo Hung plays three different characters: Fatty, Fatty's father and Fatty's grandfather, Hung Kau. Fatty is a hotel worker, yearning for sudden wealth. Therefore, he, and his co-worker, enter the gambling world, to the dismay of his father. When Fatty hits rock bottom, the ghost of his grandfather resurrects to help him. However, Fatty learns that his grandfather was murdered, therefore, he will stop at nothing to avenge his death.

Building designer Bill Chang and his family move into a seemingly wonderful house after getting a promotion. However, they were not aware of the house's sinister past involving its previous owner - an abusive, handicapped actor who torched his home, killing him, his wife and two daughters. After the Chang family settled in, the actor's restless ghost wants to reclaim ownership of the house and the people that inhabit it.
