Early Birds

The neo-noir thriller EARLY BIRDS tells the story of the two wildly different women Annika and Caro, who become embroiled in a web of unpredictable events following a night out on the town. As the two flee together from the police, drug dealers and themselves, they're confronted by the collision of two worlds: their personal freedom and unrelenting violence.

My Wonderful Wanda

The Polish woman Wanda, 35, looks after Joseph, 70, in his family villa by the lake. She is there for him around the clock and also helps his wife Elsa, 75. The youngest son Gregi, 28, likes her very much. The work is poorly paid, but Wanda needs the money for her own family in Poland. Since everyone lives under one roof, Wanda gets an intimate view of their family life. So intimate that Wanda unexpectedly becomes pregnant.

Kingdom

A vast, rocky desert. A lone woman struggles to preserve the last remaining bit of the last remaining glacier with a crazy patchwork of cloth and rags that she retrieves from the abandoned valleys. Sisyphus' work. Only at night, when the blazing sun has disappeared, other creatures appear. Wolves and mountain goats drink in unison from the last source of water. And the woman is no longer alone.

Interdependence

Started in 2018, the project – comprised of 11 segments by filmmakers from all around the world – reflects on the intertwined relationship between human society and nature that is aggravated by climate change on multiple scales, hinting at possible solutions.

Monkey King

Wolfi is in his mid-40s and wants to revisit the good old days with his three best buddies in the Provence, where life is good. Little does he realize that his old chums are in the middle of growing up for real, bringing their wives and kids and all their everyday family problems too.

Summer, sunshine and boredom. Parents are on a vacation in St. Tropez and NIK has the huge house to himself. He wants to profit and invites his grammer school friends over. He is ready to overcome his insecurity and to do whatever it takes to be part of the 'gang'.
