In Castallet, a village in Provence, cats are swarming and disturbing the peace and quiet of the inhabitants. The municipality decides to get rid of these invasive felines, but a group of children nicknamed "la bande à Bobo" (Bobo's gang) comes to their defense.

Marianne, whose past is not beyond reproach, runs a real estate agency, to whose customers Mr. Donzin grants high-interest mortgages. Donzin provides high-interest mortgages. Mr. Donzin has just executed a charming victim who, unable to repay her loan after her husband's death, has had her business confiscated. Marianne is dreaming of a vigilante when her ex-husband, Alfredo, pardoned from prison, reappears. When he finds out, he sees in Mr. Donzin a "pigeon" worthy of attention.

Tourments

Little Jean-Claude was adopted by former singer Jacques Duffot and his wife Anne-Marie. The child's mother, Simone, is determined to take him back, happily advised by the director of a private agency. They persuade Anne-Marie that Jacques is the legitimate father. Distraught, the young woman leaves home. Jacques resumes his singing career, but Jean-Claude refuses to accept the separation and fries him to death. The couple reconcile at his bedside, while Simone tiptoes away.

Her Last Christmas

A very ill little girl having expressed the wish to live until Christmas, the whole neighborhood agrees to anticipate the celebration.
