Boys from the Streets

The movie takes place on Oslo's east side sometime during the twenties. It depicts the workers' environment by traditional elements like unemployment, strike, poverty, alcoholism, absent fathers, wise and tired mothers, the dream of a better life and the friendship between the boys in the street.

Det gror mellom steinene

A film about Oslo's parks. We visit Studenterlunden, Stensparken, Slottsparken, Frognerparken with Vigeland's children's ferry, St. Hanshaugen and Botanisk Hage on Tøyen. We see part of the new given to give Oslo a facelift: the "groundbreaking areas" in Iladalen and Torshov, with sheep projects, concerts and open-air theater for children.

Hansen og Hansen

The young unknown Hansen stays at a pension, where they await a charmer with the same name. When the other Hansen escapes, the police arrest the wrong man.

Mannen som alla ville mörda

"The man all wanted to kill" - A brutal businessman, Vilhelm Gerner, triggers a stock speculation by providing false information. Two of his partners, Smith and Grå, get ruined and therefore Smith commit suicide. Later, Gerner is found shot by his own gun. The police suspects at least seven persons. Most of them admits murdering Gerner. A reconstruction is staged in the presence of all the suspects.
