The Night She Moves

Max is around thirty and lives with Emma, his intimate friend. Unexpected news create a gap between them causing doubts and concerns to grow inside Max, pushing him to go out at night. Walking aimlessly, Max spends the night alone and accompanied by picturesque characters in remote places of Barcelona. A night of absurd and fantastic drunkenness that is at the same time an inner journey for Max. Yo la busco is a portrait of two friends, their breakup and the strange transforming walk through the nightlife of Barcelona.

Dead Slow Ahead

A freighter crosses the ocean. The hypnotic rhythm of its gears reveals the continuous movement of machinery devouring its workers: the last gestures of the old sailors’ trade disappearing under the mechanic and impersonal pace of 21st century neo-capitalism. Perhaps it is a boat adrift, or maybe just the last example of an endangered species. Although we don’t know it, the engines are still running, unstoppable.

Bugarach

Bugarach. Nothing ever really happens in this bucolic village in Southern France at the base of the mountain that gives it its name. But the villagers' peace and quiet vanishes when the news story circulates around the globe like a viral video that this close-knit community of 194 inhabitants will be the only place on the planet to survive the December 21st apocalypse foretold by the Mayans. 'Bugarach' dives deep into the subject of the apocalypse to reflect on the fears and coping strategies of humankind in times of deep material and spiritual crisis in the Western world.
