Magical Nights

Rome, 1990. The night Italy's national football team is eliminated from the World Cup by Argentina on penalty kicks, a well-known film producer is found dead in the Tiber river. The main suspects for the murder are three young aspiring screenwriters, who–promptly taken to the police–start to tell their version of the story.

L'accabadora

Cagliari in the 1940s is a big city for those who come from a small village. Annetta arrives in the days befpre Italy enters WWII and the Allies begin bombing the city. She's a 25-year old woman, always dressed in black, solitary and quiet, typical of the beauty of those from the most sparse areas of Sardegna.

Lighthearted Boy

Ettore attempts to end his life every day by driving his three-wheeler into a steep ditch, but lacks the courage each time. His ten-year old nephew, Luca, catches on and helps him find a reason to go on.
