Amidst the thief's frenzied attempts and to his dismay, a clumsy misstep startles the household, setting the stage for an unexpected comedy of errors. While the news of the old man's demise spreads, the house swells with grieving relatives and friends, laying the groundwork for the upcoming funeral. As the family earnestly tends to funeral arrangements, the thief's futile efforts to flee are met with increasingly comical obstacles, injecting a much-needed dose of levity into an otherwise solemn affair.
