Five people, one living room. Outside on the street cars are set on fire; from the kitchen comes an unpleasant smell. Only after the wine has been spilled and the issue with the dark matter is solved, the music is turned up. Open-mouth surgery.

Mimi wants to make friends with the other children, Karl wants to go swimming with the crocodile, Dad’s hungry and Mum left the sandwiches on the kitchen table. All of a sudden, the caretaker’s little rabbit Fernando goes missing. Not until the medieval tourists arrive does a sense of order return. One thing is for sure: the world is in turmoil.

Thierry is a photographer on a visit in a foreign city. He is looking for the museum. Isabelle is lonesome and helps him out. Together they go for a drink in a nearby pub. There, Thierry soon discovers that his prearranged phrases in the foreign language won't lead to the results he desires. The dialogues of this boy-meets-girl-tragedy were adapted from an audio language trainer.
