Yuqi Kang (born April 25, 1987) is a Canadian documentary filmmaker. She is most noted for her 2017 documentary film A Little Wisdom,[1] which was the winner of the Best Canadian Feature Documentary award at the 2018 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.[2] Born in the Inner Mongolia region of China, she was raised in Beijing before moving to Canada as a teenager. Her second feature documentary, 7 Beats per Minute, premiered in 2024,[3] and was longlisted for the 2024 Jean-Marc Vallée DGC Discovery Award.[4]
