We are Azahriah

Attila Baukó, aka Azahriah is one of Hungary's most famous singer, who filled the biggest sport arena of the country with three consecutive concerts. But this film is not a concert film. It is not a music documentary. Nor is it a traditional portrait film. We are Azahriah is the story of a real and an imaginary journey inspired by Azahriah's life and songs.

Lesson Learned

Ten-year-old Palkó has just moved home to Budapest from Berlin and observes the daily life of an ordinary Hungarian elementary school with confused amazement. Juci, the young teacher just started working there. She is the only one who understands Palkó, as in their own way, they are both suffering from the same, sometimes grotesque educational system.

The First Two

After an unsuccessful marriage attempt Sasha needs to leave Budapest and her Hungarian boyfriend to continue her studies in the US. As the day progresses, their special bond makes separating in the morning a difficult choice.

As Far As I Know

No equal signs of justice can be drawn between those who are accused of a crime, those who are convicted of a crime and those who are the true offenders. That triangle always contains the accused who are not guilty and true offenders whose guilt cannot be ultimately proven. Throughout history, one of the greatest deviations in the strive towards equality has occurred in the triangle of guilt in sexual crimes, where guilt is largely proven on the basis of a woman’s will.
