Communiqués 1, 2 and 4 from the National Strike Council

no information on the tagline

In the summer of 1968 major demonstrations took the streets. “We do not want the Olympic Games, we want a revolution”. Leduc, Rafael Castanedo, Óscar Menéndez and others participated in the movement, creating public statements in the form of cinétracts, based on still photographs (especially by Héctor García), documenting the violent state’s action. They were shot in July-August to circulate between universities and gather people in the auditoriums for further political debates. Later, ten days prior to the opening of the Summer Olympics, a military massacre against the students was committed.
