Based on his filmography, he begins his career as an art director and assistant director with Othman Hasham second feature, Mekanik(1983). Afterwards, he mark his first feature as a director in Kembara Seniman Jalanan(1986) and later Rozana Cinta '87(1987). He would continue to work in several television dramas and telemovies. He was once a part time writer as an entertainment columnist for the Sinar Harian news.
