Aravind is a biker from Sabah who meets Kaaviya and falls in love with her at first sight. After getting to know her, Aravind learns that Kavya is a single mother and all this while, her life is decided by her family. Aravind follows Kavya back to Kuala Lumpur to ask Kavya's family for her hand in marriage. Soon, everyone in the family starts to like Aravind and he too develops a special bond with Aarthi (Nilaxshita), Kavya`s daughter who suffers from a liver condition. However, what Aravind does not realise is that everything has been planned from the start and he has fallen into Kavya's cunning trap.

He started his acting career through the police drama series Gerak Khas , playing the role of DSP Kumar.He (since the absence of Angeline Tan and Nancie Foo ) is the only non-Malay non-Muslim actor to act in Gerak Khas . In addition, Kumaresan sat in the director's chair through the film Maindhan which was released in August 2014. He also played a supporting role as ASP Kumar in the 2016 science fiction film, Desolation directed by Syafiq Yusof . From 27 to 31 August 2017, he played the role of Suppiah in the patriotic drama series Anak Merdeka starring Remy Ishak , Elvis Chin and Thanuja Ananthan . Kumaresan also acted as Murali in the film Dukun directed by Dain Said . He directed the drama adaptation of the novel by Zulkifli Ahmad Idrus, Mata Ketiti which premiered on Tonton on 31 October 2018, starring Hafeez Mikail , Mustaqim Bahadon , Isyariana Che Azmi and Dayana Roza .
