Bieke Depoorter was born in 1986 in Kortrijk, Belgium and is a full member of Magnum Photos. She received her master’s degree in photography from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent in 2009. Depoorter has already published three books. Dvalemodus is Depoorters first short film.
