Jacob Kressner

Ernst Jacob Theodor Kressner (born in February 12, 2000) is an independent film director, writer, producer and sound designer in Stockholm, Sweden. Between 2018 and 2021 he studied a broad film education in high school and Sundbybergs Folkhögskola. In 2022 he finished his second short film "Water!" which competed in six film festivals internationally. In 2024 he started the production company "Förbannade Myror" ("Damned Ants") together with collaborator Lukas Sjögren. His third short film "The Ant" is made with the support of the Swedish film fund "Film Stockholm AB" and crowdfunding. He plans to make his debut feature film next. Jacob's films use allegories and visual storytelling to tell personal stories.
