Year 2040. The US and California are now two different countries. The United States economy has collapsed and poverty has created frequent violence. California on the other hand is a rich and developed country, very attractive to people from the US. A grandfather and his grandson have been victims of organized crime in their hometown and have no other option than to migrate illegally to California, where a better future awaits. This is the story of their journey and all the challenges they have to endure while crossing the border. Will they make it to their dream destination.
