Stefan Đorđević

Stefan Djordjevic (1987, Serbia) was introduced to a film through feature fiction film Tilva Ros (2010, directed by Nikola Lezaic), in which Stefan plays one of the two leading roles. The film was nominated for the European Discovery Award by the European Film Academy in 2010. He studied cinematography at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he received his BA and MA. As part of his graduation project he made a short fiction film, A Handful of Stones (2017, directed by Stefan Ivancic), which was screened in many international festivals and premiered internationally in the ACID programme of Cannes Film Festival. His short fiction film The Last Image of Father (2019) was premiered at Locarno Film Festival and received awards at many film festivals, while his short documentary film Portrait of a Dying Giant (2023) was a part of the Serbian pavilion at Venice Biennale of Architecture. He made his feature debut fiction film Wind, Talk to Me (2025) and it was premiered in Tiger competition of Rotterdam Film Festival. Stefan has also exhibited his photography in Belgrade, and the most memorable one was A Diary of Mom (2020), together with his brother Bosko Djordjevic.
